Driver Recruiter (US trucking)

What you’ll do

• Source and attract CDL drivers (company drivers and owner-operators) through job boards, social media, driver groups, and our candidate database.

• Run initial phone screenings and interviews, and assess each candidate’s experience, documents, and motivation.

• Guide candidates through the full funnel: from first contact and onboarding paperwork to their first day on the truck.

• Explain our work conditions, pay structure, and requirements clearly.

• Work closely with dispatchers, the fleet department, and HR to fill driver needs on time.

• Track time-to-hire and conversion rates, and suggest ways to improve sourcing.

What we’re looking for

• 1-2 years of experience as a recruiter, ideally in high-volume hiring or logistics.

• Experience with cold calling and communicating with candidates by phone and messenger.

• Spoken English at B2 level or higher: you can confidently talk with drivers and explain things clearly.

• Hands-on experience with job boards and social media as sourcing channels.

• Comfort working with targets, numbers, and deadlines.

• Strong communication skills, stress resistance, and the ability to quickly build rapport with different kinds of people.

Nice to have

• Experience hiring drivers or operational staff in trucking or logistics.

• Familiarity with US trucking terms (CDL, OTR, owner-operator, ELD, HOS, etc.).
