Lead Product Data Analyst

Who we're looking for

A hands-on Lead Product Data Analyst who combines strong analytical expertise with leadership capabilities.

This role is ideal for someone who not only delivers high-quality analytics personally but also drives team performance, builds data culture, and supports product and business decision-making through insights. You will lead a small team of analysts while actively contributing to analytics development, reporting, and data-driven product growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of analysts: manage backlog and tasks, provide guidance, review results, and support professional growth

• Support business decisions with data analysis and drive product innovation with data insights

• Design and develop dashboards and analytical solutions, including DWH data marts

• Own and deliver key business and product reports

• Promote and embed a data-driven culture across product decision-making

• Develop and implement product metric systems

• Build analytical models depending on business needs — from Excel-based calculations to advanced ML models

• Introduce and implement new analytical tools to improve analyst and business user workflows

• Contribute to DWH architecture improvements

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in data analytics (industry background is not restricted)

• Proven experience combining hands-on analytics work with leadership responsibilities

• Strong experience in reporting, dashboard development, and metrics design

• Ability to independently structure analytical problems and deliver insights

• Good people management and communication skills

• Experience with financial analytics or credit products is a strong advantage

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

• Willingness to relocate to Malaysia is a plus
