Front-end Developer (Layout & UI)

We’re the development team at Dukascopy, a Swiss bank. We’re looking for a front-end developer who enjoys clean layout work and can turn designs into fast, user-friendly pages.

What you’ll do

• Build websites and landing pages from Figma designs: responsive, cross-browser, true to the design

• Bring interfaces to life with animations, transitions and micro-interactions

• Write clean, readable code and keep things simple (KISS)

• Take part in tasks from the first discussion to release

• Check your own work before handing it off

What we’re looking for

• 2+ years of commercial development experience

• Strong HTML5 and CSS3: semantic markup, Flexbox, Grid, responsive layout

• Sass or Less

• JavaScript and TypeScript, experience with React

• Git and teamwork through code review

• A good eye for UI/UX: you notice what makes an interface awkward and suggest how to fix it

• Reliability and the ability to meet deadlines

• Good Russian, as it’s the team’s working language

Nice to have

• CSS animations, GSAP or similar tools

• PWA experience

• Redux / Redux-Saga

• Basic knowledge of accessibility (a11y) and page-speed optimization

• English
