Senior C++ / Python Developer

Nauchsoft is an international IT consulting and software development company. We have been in the IT business for 37 years and continue growing.

We are looking for an experienced Senior C++ / Python Developer to join a long-term Healthcare project focused on Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) products. This role is prospective and has been created in line with the company’s planned team expansion.

The project includes several interconnected software solutions, with some of them currently going through or preparing for FDA submission. The development team works on business-critical medical software in close collaboration with an international customer team based in the Netherlands.

This is an opportunity to work on a mature Healthcare product, contribute directly to its development and regulatory readiness, and collaborate closely with experienced engineers in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software components using C++ and Python .

• Implement new functionality and improve existing product components.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure high code quality and maintainability.

• Investigate and resolve technical issues.

• Prepare and maintain technical and project documentation.

• Use Claude Code extensively to support development, code review, documentation, and other engineering activities.

• Collaborate directly with the customer's developers and participate in daily project meetings.

• Work closely with the team throughout the full development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

• Senior-level software development experience, 5+ years of commercial experience is preferred .

• Strong hands-on experience with C++ and Python .

• Strong software engineering and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with code review and maintaining high-quality production code.

• Ability to work effectively with an existing codebase and understand complex technical systems.
