Middle Technical Writer

About the role

We're looking for a Technical Writer to own the documentation experience for our developer-facing platform. You'll build and maintain the knowledge base end to end — from information architecture and style standards to the guides, API references, and video scripts that developers actually use. This is a role for someone who enjoys turning complex cloud and API concepts into clear, well-structured content, and who treats documentation as a product with users, metrics, and a roadmap.

What you'll do

Content

• Write and edit developer guides, API documentation, release notes, and tutorials for both technical and non-technical audiences

• Break down cloud architectures, microservices, and REST APIs into clear, digestible explanations

• Write scripts for how-to videos and partner with the marketing team to produce video tutorials

Structure & standards

• Create, organize, and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base, keeping all documentation current and accurate

• Establish and maintain style guides, templates, and documentation best practices for consistency across all content

• Design and optimize site structure and navigation to improve findability and user experience

• Evaluate, implement, and maintain the documentation toolchain (static site generators, version control, CI/CD)

Collaboration & impact

• Work with software engineers and product managers to elicit technical detail and validate accuracy

• Plan, track, and deliver content milestones using Agile workflows and ticketing systems

• Use analytics and user feedback to measure documentation impact, identify gaps, and continuously improve quality

• Monitor forums, support tickets, and community channels to spot recurring pain points and missing content

What we're looking for

Experience

• 3+ years designing, writing, and producing technical content for developers or IT professionals

• Documenting cloud platforms, APIs, developer tools, infrastructure services, or enterprise…
