Lead Automation QA Engineer

Nauchsoft , an international software development and IT consulting company, is looking for a full-time Lead Automation QA Engineer. We have been in the IT business for 37 years and continue growing.

We are looking for an experienced Lead AQA Engineer to join a long-term enterprise project for a company operating in the telecommunications and digital services domain.

The platform serves millions of users and includes a complex ecosystem of web, mobile, backend, and integration services. The solution has been actively developed for several years and continues to evolve through new functionality, infrastructure improvements, integrations, and further QA automation.

The key goal of this role is to define and drive the test automation strategy, strengthen the AQA function, and introduce modern AI-assisted automation practices while remaining actively involved in hands-on engineering.

The team works from 11:00 to 20:00 (GMT+3).

Responsibilities:

• Define, implement, and continuously improve the test automation strategy .

• Lead the development and evolution of the automation framework based on Playwright and TypeScript .

• Establish automation standards and engineering best practices.

• Estimate, prioritize, and distribute tasks within the AQA team.

• Monitor execution and quality of automation activities.

• Make and defend technical decisions with the team and customer.

• Participate in hands-on automation development, including writing and maintaining automated tests.

• Prepare test data and improve automation coverage and reliability.
